About

DCT Gdansk, Poland’s newest and most modern container and Ro-Ro terminal facility, was officially opened on 1st October 2007. DCT is the fastest growing terminal in Poland, after capturing over 25% of the Polish maritime container traffic becoming the second largest terminal in Poland in December 2008. In January 2010, DCT Gdansk revolutionized the Baltic shipping market when it started to serve the first regular deep-sea calls into the Baltic Sea. As a result, from September 2010, the Port of Gdansk claims the top spot among Polish container ports in terms of Polish import/export handling. DCT Gdansk is an ideal gateway to Poland as well as the transhipment hub for St. Petersburg and the rest of the Baltic region.Unlike other terminals in Poland and in the vicinity, DCT Gdansk has unlimited potential for expansion, up to 4 million TEU capacity in future planned development phases. With its infrastructure developed specifically to suit the deep-sea container market, up to 16.5 metre of depth, full RFID, GPS coverage of the facility managed by Jade Master Terminal (one of the most advanced TOS currently available) and as the only terminal with the ability to handle full block trains, DCT Gdansk is the ideal platform to allow shipping lines and forwarders to efficiently serve Poland and a wider Central and Eastern Europe. Thanks to its 60 Ton super Post-Panamax cranes, extensive yard area, all year round ice-free and tide-free deep sea direct access, DCT Gdansk is also the perfect hub for any line’s transhipment needs.
DCT Gdansk is Your Baltic Gateway.
